Playing the Library
A university project to remix imagery from books in the LCC library collection using a variety of papers and techniques, like risograph and Xerox digital print.
In my case I chose imagery from 5 books all authored in some form by someone with my name (Enrico).
> Cells to Civilizations
by Enrico Coen
> Jean-Michel Basquiat: Works on Paper
edited by Enrico Navarra
> Fiona Tan: Geography of Time
edited by Enrico Lunghi
> Fontana
edited by Enrico Crispolti
> George Grosz: Berlin-New York
text by Enrico Crispolti
From this I was inspired by Carl Jung's Red Book which was a self-study into the subconscious through instinctive writings and imagery that became a tapestry to aid him in his own psychological studies.
And so, from seeming unrelated books, I took imagery that I felt resonated with me, and then underwent a similar experiment: start on page 1, and let my subconscious put together what "felt right".

Give or take, this was the original with *very* minor tweaks for visual polish.
From this I then attempted to psychoanalyse the story which had emerged, and made notes from each slide:
(better to open the image in a new tab for higher resolution)
Tldr, if you can't: a lot of duality, fear of shadow and God, longing for something great.
Sounds about right to me, haha.
5 editions of this book exist, with one remaining on display in the LCC Library.
