Passthrough Effects

This app was built with Unity for the Meta Quest 3 as a self-directed exploration into Meta's Passthrough Filters and Passthrough Camera APIs, to create UI which could create various effects and transform the world around a user in real time.


As demoed, there are light-based camera adjustments, filters, and edge rendering, as well as a custom 'datamosh' effect using the camera input as its basis.


Unfortunately due to limitations of the Passthrough Camera API, the last effect couldn't be applied to the surroundings, but makes do with a tunnel-vision effect.
